Atlantic Tian (SBA01) officially put into operation

The Atlantic Titan built for the Piercey family in Newfoundland had sailed from St Johns in Canada for its first fishing trip in the middle of June 2019.

Fishing Trawler is a medium-sized vessel which belongs to the latest generation under the law of Canada and international about seafood exploitation. Its length is 31.76m, breadth is 10.3m, Atlantic Titan brings traditional features and a distinctive design – plus cutting edge technology. This vessel can be exploited in the harshest climates at the northern sea of Canada. While crabbing, catches sorted and fed to the two 50,000 litres tanks to be kept in prime condition with a 160 cubic metre freezer hold, and extend the hold space to 260 cubic metres.

This is new fishing vessel, designed to alternate crabbing with trawling for groundfish, are Scottish company Macduff Ship Design and Shipbuilding Asia, which handled Atlantic Titan’s construction at the Ha Long Shipyard, Vietnam. VISEC is the subcontractor for piping design for SBA01.
