Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering J.S.C (Visec) was established in 2006 as part of Vietnam Shipbuilding Science and Technology Institute (SSTI) and became fully private owned Joint stock company since 2008. With a team of over 50 experienced naval architect and marine engineers who have been trained from various countries with developed shipbuilding industry such as Finland, Netherland and Poland, we are proud of being the leading ship design company in Vietnam.
So far, we have provided our ship design and consultancy service to many important shipbuilding projects in Vietnam such as The Floating Storage Offloading unit 150,000 D.W.T (FSO-5) built in Nam Trieu shipyard; The LPG/LEG 4,500 m3 ethylene carrier built in Bach Dang shipyard; The Crude oil tanker 100,000 D.W.T built in Dung Quat shipyard; The Military hospital vessel built in X189 navy yard. All of the products above and many others have been completed with the highest quality, meeting all of the requirements from Classification Societies and ship owners.
We are well known as the first company which has applied advance CAD (Computed Assisted Design) technology in ship design process in Vietnam. Besides, we have also succeed in transferring the CAD design software and shipbuilding ERP system to many shipyards and ship design companies in Vietnam such as Nam Trieu shipyard, Ha Long shipyard, Bach Dang shipyard, PTSC Mechanical & Construction, Dung Quat shipyard, SESCO, Vietnam Register…
