Keel Laying Ceremony For Victoria Mekong Cruise Ship

The keel laying ceremony for the Victoria Mekong cruise ship was held on January 4, 2019 at the SSIC Shipyard in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the first ship amongst many planned ships under a Joint Venture between Thien Minh Group (TMG) and Wendy Wu Tours (WWT). Victoria Mekong has 35 beautifully designed cabins, offering three and four-night cruises between Can Tho, Vietnam and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

As a rigidly selected ship design unit by the investor, Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Joint Stock Company provides a package of ship design solutions from concept design, basic design, construction design and Interior design for the ship. With an international operation scale, Victoria Mekong cruise ship is designed to ensure that the requirements of the highest aesthetic and optimal use for passengers and operators.

Chief Executive of TMG assessed that this will be the best-valued cruises in the Mekong Delta. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the Victoria Mekong will offer passengers a unique itinerary and a “green” experience plying the waters of the Mekong Delta between Vietnam and Cambodia and will begin operations at the end of the year 2019
