Workshop Design for Hull part of Ropax Mols-Linien ship

After nine months of implementation, VISEC has completed and handed over the whole Hull workshop design of Ropax Mols-Linien ship to Bluetech Finland.

Ropax Mols-Linien is a modern passenger and car ferry, specially designed to optimized for sailing on the Baltic Sea on the routes between Sjaelland and Bornholm.

It is built at Rauma Shipyard, Finland and will be operational since September 2018

Specifications:

- Length: 158m

- Width: 24,50m

- Draft : 5,70m

- Passenger: 600 persons

- Total parking length: 1.500m.

Although Ropax is a complex type of vessel with high standard construction on automatic production line of Rauma Shipyard, Visec's engineers had completed this project to meet schedule and quality requirements of customer. This project continues to mark the successful cooperation between Visec, Bluetech finland and shipyards in Finland.

After the completion of Ropax Mols Linien project, Visec continues to be selected to participate in the Costa Five Star Yacht project which is built at the Turku Shipyard. The Costa project is expected to complete within 12 months.
