VietShip 2018

From January 24 to 26, 2018, Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Joint Stock Company (VISEC) participated in Vietship 2018 exhibition at the National Convention Center (Me Tri, Tu Liem, Hanoi).

Vietship is the largest and longest established exhibition in Vietnam featuring all aspect of shipbuilding, shipping and offshore technology. Since 2002, Vietship exhibition has become gathering world as well as most of Vietnamese shipowners and shipyards in the field of new shipbuilding, ship repair, marine equipment, transportation services, seaports and offshore technology.

Our booth has welcomed many visitors and partners. – Mr. Nguyen Van Cong_ Deputy Minister of Transportation and leaders of Shipbuilding Industry Corporation visited the company booth.

The exhibition also opens opportunities for cooperation with potential partners.

Specialized Conference with topic “SHIPPING AND SHIPBUILDING MARKET IN VIETNAM – CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES” was held with 10 speakers from Vietnam and abroad. - Mr. Pham Binh Minh_General Director of Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Joint Stock Company participated in the presentation entitled "New Demand for Designing for Shipbuilding Market in Vietnam", which presents the needs of ship types such as coal, passenger ships, tourism ships, oil tankers and fishing vessels.

In the framework of the exhibition, Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Joint Stock Company (VISEC) has signed contracts to convert 22,500 tons and 17,500 tons cargo ships into product tankers with H.P.C marine J.S.C. These two projects were constructed at Bach Dang Shipyard.

At Vietship 2018, VISEC was honored to receive the design award for deep cement mixing barge - DAEBO 3.

The vessel is basic designed, workshop designed and convert construction supervised by VISEC. DAEBO 3 has been completed and now, being operated at Hongkong for the Hong Kong International Airport Bridge Construction Project.
